Statement Zen reconciles supplier statements against Xero, QuickBooks Online and Viewpoint Vista today. A ready-made connection for QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is not built yet.
Don't want to wait? Send us a report instead
A full integration with QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise will take time. If you'd like to reconcile sooner, send us a report from QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. Once we have set up reading it, we reconcile your supplier statements against it.
What to send
A supplier transaction report, not just open payables (the list of what you owe today). A supplier transaction report is your system's history of every bill, credit note and payment for each supplier, with dates, references and amounts. It should cover at least the last three months and include both paid and unpaid items. Send it as a CSV, Excel or PDF file.
In QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise this is often called something like Transaction List by Vendor or Vendor Balance Detail, though the name can differ between versions. A report like that should usually work.
Why a few months, and paid items too
A supplier statement shows what the supplier thinks you owed on one date. If we only see what is unpaid today, an invoice you paid last week looks like a mistake, and anything near the statement date can't be placed on the right side of it. A few months of history lets us tell a real difference from a timing difference.
How it works
You email the file to us at info@statementzen.com. There is no upload page. Send us a sample and we'll set up reading your report ourselves, which is much quicker than waiting for a full integration. Once we have a usable sample, we usually need a few days and aim to have it working for you within about a week.
Or join the waitlist
Join the waitlist and we will contact you when it is built. We use the list to see which systems people ask for most, so it decides what we build next. Only your work email is required.
About QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
What it is
QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise is Intuit's Windows desktop accounting system for growing businesses, sold in tiers and in industry editions. Intuit stopped selling QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Premier to new US subscribers in September 2024, so Enterprise is the Desktop version still on offer there.
Who uses it
Mostly product and inventory businesses that have outgrown QuickBooks Pro or QuickBooks Online, typically 10 to 100 staff, with up to 40 users. Intuit sells industry editions for construction, manufacturing, wholesale and retail. Intuit sells it in the US and Canada.
What we would read from it
There is no ready-made web connection for QuickBooks Desktop, so the practical route is a report you export from it that lists your bills, credits and payments by supplier. We would match those lines against the supplier statements you forward to us.
